We appreciate your comments, which enrich the conversation on this blog. To protect the site and its community from abuse, some technical data (IP address, browser user agent) is collected temporarily.

Technical emails (Brevo)
To reliably deliver its technical emails (comment notifications, security alerts, password resets), this site uses the Brevo service (a French company, with data hosted in the European Union). No marketing mailing list or newsletter is active at this time; Brevo is only used for these occasional, technical emails.

If you upload images to this site, we recommend avoiding uploading images with embedded location (EXIF) data, as this could reveal GPS coordinates.
